Pro Dive's Wreck Treck
What better way to drift dive, then to drift five wrecks. Our Five Wreck Trek takes place Every other Friday afternoon at 1:00 pm. The order of wrecks that you drift will vary depending on where you start due to the current.
Ultimately, you have the possibility to dive the wreck of the 120 foot Merci Jesus, the Tracy, also known as the Ken Vitale, the Jay Scutti, a 100 foot harbor tugboat, the 45 foot yacht, Moonshot, and the Pride, a 95 foot steel hulled schooner. All five wrecks sit in about 70 feet of water, maybe a little deeper if you bring a shovel!
Little is know about the Merci Jesus, but it lays upright in about 68 feet of water. The Jay Scutti was sunk in 1986 and the Pride was added to the artificial reef a year later, in 1987. In 1989 the Moonshot was deployed just 100 feet away from the Jay Scutti. In 1998, the Tracey was sunk and still remains laying upright. You will find a variety of marine life, both large and small amongst all the wrecks. So come out and join us for the Five Wreck Trek, a dive that all locals look forward to!
