Phase IV:
ROS® RESORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
ROS® - The Resort Operations Specialist program was written and developed exclusively for Pro Dive by Dr. Alex Brylske– one of the world’s foremost experts on diver education and award-winning authority on sustainable marine tourism. ROS® is Pro Dive’s “flagship” program, and is the only professional development course in the diving industry that’s both proprietary and trademarked. So, it is only here at Pro Dive where you can earn this valuable training and certification.
The ROS® curriculum is constantly updated based on extensive resort operations job analysis, and frequent feedback from employers at the world’s top dive resorts. These frequent revisions insure that ROS® graduates are among the best trained in the world, and are able to meet the challenges of the ever changing industry and consumer.
Currently, the program is divided into 11 components, within five major areas, and addresses a wide range of topics. You’ll learn the latest theory and techniques in diver supervision, emergency procedures, marine conservation, sustainable business practices, customer service, scuba equipment repair and compressor system operations.
