OPEN WATER REFERRAL TRAINING
If you have already completed the classroom and pool training sessions of an Open Water Diver course, you may wish to request a referral form from your instructor. This would allow you to complete the open water training dives with Pro Dive in the warm, tropical, blue waters of South Florida and among the beautiful coral reefs of Fort Lauderdale.
Our Open Water Referral Training includes all scuba equipment, a pool session to review the underwater skills you have already learned, four ocean boat dives and certification fees.
Entry Requirements:
You must be at least 10 years of age and have already completed the classroom and pool training sessions of an Open Water Diver course to participate in Pro Dive’s Open Water Referral Training.
Note: If your Open Water Diver course is with a scuba certification agency other than PADI (e.g. SSI, NAUI, SDI, YMCA, IDEA, PDIC, etc.), you will still be able to participate in our Open Water Referral Training. However, you will be following the PADI training dive and certification standards – for which, upon successful completion of your Referral Training dives you will receive the PADI Open Water Diver Certification.
Course Materials:
You will need to bring a completed Referral Form [link] from your original instructor.
Equipment Needed:
All of your scuba equipment will be provided for you. If you don’t have mask, snorkel, fins and a wetsuit we will provide that for you as well – yet we strongly encourage you to own these items.
All Pro Dive students are eligible for special discount pricing on equipment purchased in our full-service retail dive center. Rental equipment is available on request.

Certification Awarded:
Upon successful completion of the course, the student is certified as a PADI Open Water Diver.
