Phase II:
OPEN WATER SCUBA INSTRUCTOR

The Open Water Scuba Instructor Program is Phase II of the Pro Dive Scuba Career Curriculum. The program begins with the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). The IDC is split into two parts: The PADI Assistant Instructor and the PADI Open Water SCUBA Instructor.
After completion of the Assistant Instructor Course, candidates may attend the PADI Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI) and the optional Instructor Exam Theory Preparation Workshop.
This Phase can be entered at any level provided you meet the entry requirements. After successful completion of the PADI Instructor Examination (IE), PADI will award candidates its Open Water Scuba Instructor certification.
