Professional Career Path For The Non-Diver
Pro Dive’s exclusive Diamond Program was designed specifically for the individual who wishes to pursue a career in the recreational scuba industry but has not yet done their initial Open Water certification course.
The Diamond Program is conducted over a six week time period, and will start you on the road to becoming a professional Instructor or Divemaster with the following courses:
- PADI Open Water Diver
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
- PADI Master Scuba Diver (PADI's highest recreational credential)
- PADI Underwater Navigator
- PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy
- PADI Night Diver
- PADI Deep Diver
- PADI Search & Recovery
- PADI Emergency First Responder (EFR)
- DAN Oxygen Provider
- PADI Rescue Diver
- PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver
- PADI Divemaster (PADI's first professional membership level)
During the Diamond Program it is possible for you to log over 60 dives, most of which will be conducted onboard our 60-foot "floating classroom" the PRO DIVER II. Your open water training dives will take place among the beautiful coral reefs and a wide variety of wrecks located just beyond the Fort Lauderdale shoreline.
Completion of the Diamond Program results in a total of 15 separate certifications, and gives you the necessary foundation on which to build your upcoming Instructor training. You may continue with instructor level courses once you have been certified for at least six months from your original Open Water Diver certification date. And when you become a Pro Dive Instructor graduate, you will qualify for our exclusive free lifetime job placement service.
This training package includes all tuition, training materials, certification fees, boat fees and tank and weight belt rental fees. The cost of the program does not include your required personal scuba equipment. Pro Dive can offer equipment rental during your stay or you may purchase it from our full-service retail dive store and take advantage of our unique student equipment discount program.
