PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER
Our PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to enhance your experience, skills and knowledge as a diver in various types of diving environments and activities.
The 5 ocean boat dives will involve you in various underwater tasks that will broaden your diving awareness and capabilities. During the class, you will complete the following Adventure Dives:
1) Underwater Navigation (Required)
2) Deep Diving (Required)
3) Drift Diving (Elective)*
4) Peak Performance Buoyancy (Elective)*
5) Night Diving (Elective)*
These dives also count as the First Certification Dives for the Master Scuba Diver Program that follows this course.
*Alternate Elective Dives available on request for Non-Career Students

Entry Requirements:
Certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification from another certification organization.
You must be at least 12 years of age to participate in the course.
Course Materials:
eLearning: PADI Digital Adventures in Diving Manual (included with eLearning course)
Standard: PADI Adventures in Diving Manual (included with classroom based program)
Equipment Needed:
You will need the following equipment for the course:
• Mask, fins and snorkel
• Wetsuit*
• BCD with low-pressure inflator system*
• Single-hose regulator with alternate-air-source device*
• Submersible pressure gauge*
• Depth gauge and / or Computer*
• Compass*
• Bottom timing device (dive computers are acceptable)*
• Two dive lights (one primary and one backup)*
• Dive knife or other cutting tool
• Audible surface signaling device (whistle or other noise maker)
• Pencil and underwater slate

All Pro Dive students are eligible for special discount pricing on equipment purchased in our full-service retail dive center. Rental equipment is available on request.
Certification Awarded:
Upon successful completion, you will receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification Card.

The class is generally conducted over one weekend. Alternate schedules are available.

8:00 AM to 12: PM
Orientation & Scuba Tune Up
2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Ocean Dives 1 & 2
6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Ocean Dive 3 (Night dive)
Day 2 - Sunday
8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER /ENRICHED AIR SPECIALTY DIVER COMBINATION
The PADI Enriched Air Diver (aka Nitrox) course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course and can be done in conjunction with your Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver training. Scuba diving with enriched air gives you more no decompression dive time – which means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives. In addition to Advanced Open Water Diver training this course includes Enriched Air online eLearning. You will complete five Adventure Dives, and on two of them you will use enriched air. The course also includes certification fees, your new certification cards and all course materials including the use of an enriched air dive computer during training.
Entry Requirements:
Certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification from another certification organization.
You must be at least 15 years of age to participate in the course.
Certification Awarded:
Upon successful completion, you will receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification Card and PADI Enriched Air Diver Certification Card.
