ROS Advanced Diving Accident Management

ROS® - ADVANCED DIVING ACCIDENT MANAGEMENT

The remote location of most dive resorts, whether a few hours from shore or days from civilization, requires more advanced care than that offered by traditional rescue training. In addition, dive leaders need to know how to deal with minor life injuries, a subject rarely addressed in transitional first aid courses. To respond to this need, ROS® includes the following segments:

Advanced O2 and Remote Emergency Medical Oxygen (REMO2) Administration
This component is designed to provide options to existing certified DAN Oxygen Providers in delivering oxygen to non-breathing injured divers and to provide injured divers with high concentrations of emergency oxygen for extended periods.

Skills included in this program are:
- Ventilations using the MTV-100 & bag valve mask
- Use of REMO2 Equipment and procedures

CERTIFICATIONS:

DAN REMO2 Provider
DAN Advanced Oxygen First Aid Provider
(Course Fees are included in materials)

DAN Pocket Mask is required
